From the Studio: Fonts, Coffee, and the Pursuit of Clarity
Every studio has its rituals.
Ours? Good fonts, strong coffee, and an unapologetic obsession with clarity.
If you’ve ever walked into our workspace, you’d probably find design files open, mugs everywhere, and someone mumbling about kerning like it’s a world issue. (It kind of is.)
But beneath the caffeine and typography love, what drives us is this:
we believe clarity is a strategic advantage.
Because beautiful design is nice — but clear design moves people.
☕ What We Obsess Over
Fonts
Not because they’re trendy, but because they whisper tone before words even begin.
In a world flooded with noise, type is our quiet act of rebellion — we use it to make information feel human again.
Coffee
Deadlines don’t wait, and neither does caffeine.
But for us, coffee isn’t just fuel — it’s a ritual that slows us down enough to think, to breathe, and to see ideas clearly before translating them into visuals.
A Queen 👑
This week at the studio: coffee’s brewing, music’s playing, and there’s a touch of royal excitement in the air.
Between font debates and caffeine highs, we found out queen Maxima of Netherlands actually read one of our report designs!! Not your everyday feedback, right?
Because design really travels — and when women align, big things happen.
From women-owned studios to women-centered NGOs to a queen who champions empowerment — clarity connects us all. ✨
From the Studio to the World
We’re a women-led design studio based in Jakarta, crafting reports, presentations, and brand communication materials that turn complexity into clarity for NGOs, corporates, and social impact teams.
We work at the intersection of empathy and strategy — creating visuals that help ideas travel further, get funded faster, and land where they matter most.
So yes, we love fonts.
And coffee.
And our queens.
But what we really love is helping people understand what matters.
